The Event

Working with fair-trade to set up a pop-up event that will last a week, in each large city an town within the UK to raise Awareness, to sign a petition 'because i am a girl'.

A small wedding tent decorated in fair-trade blankets and throws, picnic benches and cushions. It is a social environment that any age and audience can enjoy buying tea and coffee.

The walls will be covered with the info-graphic posters. There will be a A1 poster with Plan UK's aim and what they are going to do, as Plan saying making it more lighthearted and focusing it on the good.

It will have Plan UK's description in (from the brand guidelines)
"Plan is a global children's charity. We work with children in the world's poorest countries to help them build a better a future. A future you would want for all children, you're family and friends.
For over 70 years we've been taking action and standing up for every child's rights to fulfill their potential by;
(bullet point) giving children a healthy start in life, including access to safe drinking water.
(bullet point) securing the education of girls and boys
(bullet point) working with communities to prepare and survive disasters
(bullet point) inspiring children to take a lead in decisions that affect their lives
(bullet point) enabling families to earn a living and plan for their children's futures.
We do what's needed, where it's most. We do what you would do.
With your support, children, families and entire communities have the power to move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity.
Join the plan to help them keep doing it."
In one of the main walls there will be a large chalk board for people to write their suggestions on how to raise awareness and support Plan Uk in this campaign.
In a separate /  smaller area there is a place to sign the petition and have your photograph taken with a 'because i am a girl' sign. Throughout the week these photographs, will be stuck up around the whole tent, they will also be added to the Facebook page
