I want to start the front cover today.
I want the front and back cover to be viewed as a poster. The concept behind the cover is I want to use black ink so you gat the lovely newspaper run off which I think links directly to trades, getting your hands dirty. setting a document up in photoshop of a double spread.
I started on my logo using the two typefaces I have. I just want to log to me simple and bold, contrast between the two chosen typefaces.
Trying the colours that the printers suggested print well on the stock. I defiantly prefer black, it is much more relevant.
Because I'm a idiot I didn't realise that the printable area of the front and back cover means that I cannot have a background without have a white spine. So I will print the cover at University along with the other front covers. At least all of the covers will be on the same stock. I feel the whole of the front cover needs to have a solid background and I want the front and back cover to be a poster.
