Really pleased with how my mail outs printed. I feel like the typography branding I have created fits in well and I took on Andy's advice of sticking with the line showing the timeline idea. I feel too that it is more though out than the submission posters we put around university.
The only problem I have is that Although I aligned everything like James told me (down in the print room), they still managed to print wonky. At a glance they look fine it is only under close inspection you can really tell.
Buisness cards
I am really pleased with my business cards. I like how they are a extension of the brand using all of the six typefaces and all of the six colours. I think they look professional and are exactly what we needed. If we had more time I would love to screen print and using thicker stock (about 300gsm) It would also be great to try letter pressing them on the back. I think if I have any spare time at the end of all of my briefs before hand in I will defiantly try to extend this project using more print processes.
I would also love to screen print the publication.
Stephs work
Combined
I'm not to sure if mine and Steph's work looks too different but I think now I view Steph image branding as a extension from the frist posters and mine the same. I think they look oaky together and do not stick out too much but we defiantly need to design the publication together, as it would clash too much if we halved the pages.
