decided on my format for the Taxidermy publication

For this project it was undecided of two outcomes:
1. a newspaper: printed professionally because Taxidermy and all the other old trades are old and newspaper fits the feel. It alos would be a cheap method of distribution, maybe existing as a pull out of a larger paper.

2. a expensive collectable print, as a keep sake of the old trades. Nice printing finishes to add value to the content, with this it would be all in colour and have great printed posters. People would have to buy them. (I think this defeats the point of the learning something new and trying to show everyone).

or after further though.....

3. a black and white cheap zine printed on cheap stock (A5), with the middle spread being colour photographs. Creating a colour wrap around cover that is also a poster.

I chose this one:
4. To print a newspaper (tabliod) 289mm x 380mm. printed in colour. Whilst this is printing I can design limited addition posters for the Taxidermy issue. I would also print the other 11 covers.... or mock then up on photoshop?

After researching... this is the only place that starts at 1 copy, is in the UK, takes only 5 working days to print and deliver, and you can print form your own designed pdf.

I'm made a account.
Here's some advice...

Recommended colours because pure C M Y K prints better.

delivery calculator
At the latest on the 19th of November.... delivery should be between 22nd November - Mon 26th November. If it arrives on the later date, it gives me 2 weeks and a day till hand in which is plenty of time for late delivery and photographing my work.

I made a account and did a dummy upload to see what I needed to do and if the process was easy. Things I need to remember is follow the pdf size guidelines and make sure I embed all the fonts I use. Apart form this it was pretty simple, and looks like very straight forward.

I'm excited to start properly designing.
