Brief five: Learn a new trade

Proposed a monthly publication (like a zine) that aims to teach the audience something that they did not know and show the historic importance

Problem:

1. as a country we are becoming more corporate and loosing trades that we use to learn as a species from other humans.
2. we would not naturally learn about these subjects, so i want people to learn something new
3. the subject chosen is seen as not important or appropriate to todays society

inform and educate, (possibly persuade that the subject is useful and interesting)

Solution:
Method of delivery:
Produced and funded by the national lottery, free.

The product:
A monthly publication / zine (i say zine because I want it to be light hearted)
Each issue would contain information, pictures and case studies around the specific topic, which was aimed to promote, inform and inspire readers.
Even if they do not take up the trade, they have learnt about it.

The range:
Each publication will be on a different trade that is not taught or used throughout the whole of the UK. 
The first zine and the one I will create is on Taxidermy.

Distribution / the context:
They are free and have pick up points.

Fun focuses on the fact that the most of what we learn is not first hand, it is 2nd hand through technology.
